Gary Ross, at home on the concert stage and at jazz venues, has a wide array of credits to his name. His dazzling playing of Baroque masterpieces and the mellow sound of his jazz improvisations have won him acclaim from audiences young and old. He performed the Bach “Brandenburg Concerto #2” and the Haydn “Trumpet Concerto” with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the Allentown Symphony, Trenton Symphony, and the Main Street Brass Quintet. On the show stage, Mr. Ross performs with Hunterdon Playhouse Orchestra and has performed with such celebrities as Liberace, Bobby Vinton, and Barry White. Mr. Ross has served on the faculty of Lafayette College and Raritan Valley Community College.
Lawrence Kursar is widely acclaimed as both performer, conductor and arranger. As a founding member of Band du Soleil and Crosswinds Trio he has performed internationally. With his writing he established the high brass trio as a viable chamber music ensemble. He performs regularly with the Trenton Civic Opera Orchestra, Allentown Symphony, Garden State Wind Quintet, and Main Street Brass Quintet and is the Music Director and Conductor of the Hunterdon Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in such prestigious venues as the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Carnegie Hall and the Wang Center in Boston where he conducted a stage orchestra for the Bolshoi Ballet. Mr. Kursar has served on the faculty of Boston University and New England Conservatory of Music.
