  Judith Burd, Superintendent

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the new school year at Valley View and Woodglen Schools.  Teachers and administrators in both buildings have worked hard to make this school year a rewarding one for your children.  I am confident that as your child progresses through the year, you will see the positive results of these efforts.

The staff of the Lebanon Township School District has the quality education of your children as their top priority.  To achieve this goal, staff members continue to update their skills and knowledge and become more effective educators.  Staff members are involved in committee work, student activities and other efforts to expand the educational activities of all Lebanon Township students.   The district is actively involved in Curriculum Mapping which serves to update curriculum and align curriculum to the New Jersey State Core Curriculum Standards.  You will see one of the results of this Curriculum Mapping work in the curriculum brochures that the district has produced. 

My goal is to provide the best education possible to Lebanon Township’s students.  I believe that a good education requires the commitment of both the school and the home, thus I encourage all parents to become involved.  Join the PTA and work on one of the many committees that provide so many benefits to our students.  Your involvement is needed and is greatly appreciated.
