Andrew Ranallo will represent Woodglen School at the National History Day competition in June!

Andrew Ranallo won at the New Jersey National History Day competition for his masterful website called Piece by Piece: The Berlin Wall and he will be representing Woodglen School and New Jersey at the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland this June.

Joseph Avallone won 3rd place in the state and is a runner-up for the nationwide competition for his brilliant performance on The Race Space: A Comeback Victory. Jacob El-Zahr won 3rd place in the state and is also a runner-up for the nationwide competition for his amazing exhibit on the Complexity of Peace in the Holy Land.

New Jersey History Day is a year-long educational program designed for students in grade 6-12. Throughout the school year, students conduct research of primary and secondary resources in order to prepare presentations based on an annual theme. The theme for 2018 is Conflict and Compromise in History. The program culminates in a series of contests held at the regional, state, and national levels.
